Martin Ho has been named the WSL Manager of the Month for September 2026. It follows what was a fantastic start to the season for Tottenham Hotspur Women. Ho’s side began the season with a 3-1 thumping of West Ham, befor they came away from Merseyside with a 1-1 draw with Liverpool. They then proceeded to demolish Crystal Palace 0-7 and Aston Villa 4-0.
Given those results, it’s hard to argue against Ho deserving the accolade.
However, October has not so well. Spurs lost 1-6 to London City Lionesses on Sunday. Ho himself described the performance as “unacceptable“.
This is not the first time the 36-year-old has received this accolade. He was also named WSL Manager of the Month for February 2026. Let’s hope the Manager of the Month curse does not strike. However, With Chelsea and Arsenal to come after the international break, Martin Ho and his team are likely to be in a for a difficult few weeks.
