Andy Rogers is to step down as managing director of Tottenham Hotspurs Women’s team in the summer, the club announced on Friday. He is exiting after 24 years at Spurs, citing a desire to spend more time with his family.

Commenting on his departure, Rogers said: “My time as Managing Director of the Women’s team has been by far the most rewarding and inspiring – personally and professionally – of all my 24 years at this fantastic Club. I have loved working with an incredible group of staff and players, both past and present, who have been my life for the past three-and-a-half years.”

Letting Bethany England Leave is a Mistake. Here’s Why.

Bethany England scored the first WSL goal I ever saw live – an absolute screamer at Stamford Bridge. She was playing for Chelsea. It was against Spurs.

When I interviewed the now Spurs skipper for the Daily Star earlier this year, I was barely a few words into telling her this when she jumped in. England instantly remembered the goal and even apologised for it! That is an indication of how much the striker has fallen in love with Tottenham in just three-and-a-half years.

Beth England Leaving Spurs [Updated]

Beth England is leaving Spurs when her contract expires at the end of the season, the club confirmed Thursday. The forward joined fee a record £250 million fee from Chelsea in the 2022/23 January transfer window. At the point, the teams was on the precipice, about to be relegated. The new arrival scored 13 goals in 14 games, 12 in the WSL, averting disaster.

Furthermore, Beth England went on to captain the team from the start of the 2023/24. She led the team to Wembley in the FA Cup, having saved the team against Sheffield United and Chelsea. In total, she has so far scored 32 WSL goals and an additional six in other competitions whilst playing in lily white.

Spurs Women Reveal New Goalkeeping Coach Ian Willcock

Tottenham Hotspur Women announced on Wednesday that Ian Willcock had joined the first team staff. He is the goalkeeping coach, replacing Chris Williams.

A UEFA A License goalkeeping coach,  Williams arrives at Hotspur Way from the Canada Women’s National Team. He previously worked in men’s football, before joining Man Utd Women ahead of their promotion to the WSL. There he worked with current Spurs boss Martin Ho and his assistant Lawrence Shamieh.

Could Spurs Win the World Sevens Football London?

Tottenham Hotspur Women announced on Thursday that they will take part in the inaugural World Sevens Football London competition. I’m excited about the tournament. Firstly, it is a great way to do something different with women’s football. Secondly, I think Martin Ho’s side have a good chance of winning.

Roberto de Zerbi Has Answered on Mason Greenwood. What Now?

Roberto de Zerbi is here. He led Spurs in defeat against Sunderland on Sunday. Now he is set to take on his former club Brighton in his first home game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tomorrow .

I raised my concerns about this appointment prior to it being confirmed. Worries remain. Mason Greenwood related, football related, and personality related. I also thought that when asked in club media about it, de Zerbi handled the Greenwood issue fairly well. Not perfectly. Far from it. Kate Mason articulately explained the problems for The Athletic.

Update: 9 April

The following was written before Roberto de Zerbi was officially appointed as Tottenham Hotspur men’s first team coach. As I explain in this follow-up piece, many of the concerns still remain. However, the Italian has now answered questions on the issue in a manner that I think allows us to move forward. Original article below.

We all heard it. The audio allegedly revealing an assault by Mason Greenwood. There were also horrifying images of injuries. He denies the charges, including attempted rape and assault and they have been dropped.

A revolt at Man Utd stopped his return to the team there. The forward was then taken up by Roberto de Zerbi at Marseille. The Italian now looks set to be on his way to Tottenham Hotspur to replace Igor Tudor.

Preview: Chelsea vs Spurs Women (FA Cup) – Monday, 6 April 2026, Team News

After their dramatic penalty shoot-out victory in the last round, Spurs head to Kingsmeadow to take on holders Chelsea in the FA Cup quarter-final. Given the team’s performance against the top sides, it’s hard to have much confidence. However, the Blues come into the game on the back of that Champions League defeat to Arsenal. Will it drain or inspire them come Monday lunchtime?
